Termoelectrica company operating normally
Chisinau, 21 October /MOLDPRES/- Termoelectrica company is operating normally, only using alternative fuel (fuel oil) instead of natural gas.
The administration of the thermal energy producer stated in a press release that, starting with October 13, after the establishment of the state of alert in gas, it started to use fuel oil as an alternative fuel for the production of electricity and heat.
According to the company, its own limited fuel oil stock for electricity and heat production was exhausted in two days, and from October 15, according to the decision of the Commission for Emergencies, began processing fuel oil from the state reserve.
Termoelectrica operates normally, only uses alternative fuel (fuel oil) instead of natural gas, and makes every effort to provide quality heat to all consumers," reads the statement made by the heat producer.
Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban signed an order on October 19, requesting the Termoelectrica administration to connect all buildings in the municipality to the heating agent. Thus, tomorrow, October 22, will begin the thermal season 2021-2022 for all consumers in Chisinau.
