Two new flights launched first ever launched at Chisinau International Airport

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - Two air companies have informed about the making of direct flights from the Chisinau International Airport to New York, USA, and Manchester, the United Kingdom.

According to the Chisinau International Airport, the HiSky Company, after a break of over 20 years, made the first long-haul flight on the route Chisinau International Airport (RMO) - Bucharest (OTP) – New York (JFK).

„Passengers form Chisinau will be able to arrive in the United States with just a short stopover in Bucharest. The schedule of flights which make the connection between these cities and Bucharest was adapted, so that the duration of the connection is of only one hour and ten minutes,’’ the Chisinau International Airport informed.

At the same time, the FLYONE air company will launch the direct flight from the Chisinau Airport to Manchester, the UK. The flight will be launched on 20 December and will take place weekly on Fridays.

The Manchester Airport is one of the most crowded airports from England and is the biggest one outside the south-eastern region of this country. The airport provides flights to about 200 destinations – more than any other airport from the United Kingdom.
