Moldovan PM meets members of Club of Bessarabian Businesspeople in Bucharest
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan in Bucharest has met members of the Club of Bessarabian Businesspeople. The discussions focused on the measures needed to improve the business environment, eliminate administrative bottlenecks and strengthen the competitiveness of Moldovan entrepreneurs.
The PM underlined that the government would be a partner of the business community and would support the identification of concrete solutions to the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, business representatives presented proposals regarding the establishment of a fair competitive framework and the application of clear and correct rules in the field of public procurement.
The discussions also addressed leveraging accession funds to stimulate the economy, as well as the need to attract investments in agriculture and in other strategic sectors.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Vasile Tofan reiterated the Government’s objective of attracting major investments and creating favorable conditions for business development in Moldova.
