Italian Ambassador ends mission in Moldova
Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur received today the Ambassador of the Italian Republic Enrico Nunziata on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission to the Republic of Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the meeting, the Head of Moldovan diplomacy appreciated highly the support provided by the Italian government in pursuing the country’s European vector and the reform agenda, reiterating our country’s interest in advancing the bilateral dialogue on the basis of the Joint Declaration of the Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Moldova and the Italian Republic on bilateral cooperation for the implementation of Moldova – EU Association Agreement. At the same time, Minister Andrei Galbur congratulated Ambassador Nunziata on the occasion of his recent decoration with “Meritul Civic” (Civic Merit) medal, expressing gratitude for his valuable contribution to the development of the Moldovan – Italian diplomatic relations.
Ambassador Enrico Nunziata thanked for the support offered by the Moldovan authorities in successfully carrying out his tenure in Moldova and underlined the need to further enhance the Moldovan – Italian political and diplomatic dialogue, as well as trade and sector cooperation.
