
Moldovan PM conveys message of support for participants in Euro Marathon 2024
Chisinau, 8 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today conveyed a greeting message for the participants in the Euro Marathon 2024 – sports event dedicated to the promotion of Moldova’s European future, the government’s communication department reported.
„Through this race, we do not only promote a sound lifestyle, but also consolidate our European spirit. We have a quite clear direction and for this, we need a consolidated society, a strong society, a sound and vigorous society,’’ the PM said.
The start for Euro Marathon 2024 was given on the Great National Assembly Square and the distances were adapted both for professional sportspeople and for amateurs, disabled people and children. The maximal distance to be covered was of 10 km.
The participation in the race was for free and each runner received a T-shirt with the logo of the event and a medal. The Euro Marathon 2024 was organized by the website www.Sporter.md, with the support of Moldova’s Presidency, government, Education and Research Ministry, European Union’s Delegation in Chisinau and other foreign partners.
