Moldovan, European officials approach current issues
The constant support in Moldova's accession to the European Union and the reforms our country is implementing were among the topics discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean during a meeting with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola in Brussels.
He expressed gratitude for the help provided in the European legislative forum and the confidence in the power of Moldovans to build a future in peace and prosperity. Recean particularly emphasized the recent approval of Moldova Growth Plan, aid worth 1.9 billion euros.
"We will do the best to be ready for accession by 2028, and for the Republic of Moldova to be not only supported but also represented in the European Parliament as a member of the EU," Recean said.
The meeting took place in the context of the prime minister's visit to Brussels on attending the ninth meeting of Moldova-EU Association Council.
