President meets Ambassador of State of Qatar to Moldova

President Maia Sandu met today with His Excellency Dr. Turki bin Abdullah Zaid Al-Mahmoud, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Moldova.

The discussions between the two officials focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the agri-food, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors – areas with significant potential for attracting foreign investment and stimulating economic growth in the Republic of Moldova.

Ambassador Al-Mahmoud handed the President an official invitation from His Highness, Emir of Qatar to participate in the second World Summit for Social Development, due in Doha in November 2025.
