More underground parking and green spaces in residential courtyards
Real estate developers will be motivated to build more underground parking spaces. Thus, traffic will be streamlined, and the use of land in residential courtyards as green spaces will be facilitated.
In this regard, modifications will be introduced in the Urbanism and Construction Code concerning the land coverage percentage and the land use coefficient.
The cabinet of ministers has approved amendments to some construction and urbanism laws to ensure a unified interpretation of the norms by authorities, developers, and citizens.
“Our intention is to help the people of Chișinău, Bălți, and residents of our cities who are most in need of this project,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
According to the project, there will be a clear delineation of the competencies of the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision (INST) and the police regarding the halting of construction works and public order protection. Thus, INST will be responsible for identifying all potential violations, while the police will ensure public order and support INST in legal proceedings.
