Obituary. Iurie Sadovnic

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - The news about the passing away of the much beloved singer, musician, folk singer and songwriter Iurie Sadovnic has brought us a deep grief.
Our national culture remained poorer without the departed MAN of legend of the national music, who dedicated his entire life to the music and revival of the national spirit, promoting through his works the generally human values, the dignity, love for nature, love for mother, love for forest and, of course, the outlawry – all sung in his unmistakable style of folk and light music.   
He was fully dedicated to the audience; he was a true artist – a creator of sincere poems, fit for his nature and attitude towards the nation and the truth. He sang on lyrics by Eminescu, Alecsandri, Vieru, Matcovschi and Blaga; he sang ballads, wept his emotions of love for the nation and country – this was his fate, just Iurie Sadovnic himself used to say.
In these moments of deep sorrow, I express since condolences to the mourning family, relatives, friends, admirers of the singer and we join with feelings of deep valuing for the memory of the Man and Master Iurie Sadovnic, the outlaw through songs of our nation.  
Iurie Sadovnic – a nice man with bright face, locks of hair in wind, with a guitar in his hands and unmistakable and courageous voice - this is how you remain alive in our memory!
