Moldovan president congratulates newly elected president of Romania

The Presidency of the Republic of Moldova

Head of state Maia Sandu had a phone conversation with newly elected President of Romania Nicușor Dan, and congratulated for the trust given by the Romanian citizens. Maia Sandu assured the future President that he can count on the Republic of Moldova.

“I am convinced that we will continue to strengthen the strong bridges between Chișinău and Bucharest for a safe, free, and prosperous future for the people on both sides of the Prut River,” the head of state mentioned.
