Moldovan president to pay working visit to Estonia
President Maia Sandu will pay a working visit to Tallinn on May 16, 2026, at an invitation by President of Estonia Alar Karis.
The visit aims to deepen bilateral cooperation, with a focus on regional security and Moldova’s process of accession to the European Union.
The visit agenda includes meetings with her Estonian counterpart, Alar Karis, Prime Minister Kristen Michal, Parliament Speaker Lauri Hussar, Foreign Affairs Minister Margus Tsahkna and Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Marko Mihkelson.
The Moldovan president will also take part in the Lennart Meri conference, an annual event dedicated to foreign and security policy, held in Tallinn.
