Moldovan president, MEPs discuss Moldova's accession to EU

President Maia Sandu today received at the Presidency a group of members of the European Parliament on behalf of Cyprus, France, Germany, Lithuania, Malta and Romania, along with members of parliaments from Armenia and Ukraine.

The MPs are members of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, a cooperation format between the European Parliament and representatives of the legislatures of the Eastern Partnership countries.

The discussions focused on the European path of Moldova, the reforms currently being implemented, the European Parliament’s constant support for the country, as well as the challenges faced by the region.
