Assistance projects promoted on both banks of Dniester reviewed at meeting with Head of Swiss Cooperation Office in Moldova
Head of the Reintegration Policies Bureau Alin Gvidiani today had a working meeting with Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Moldova, Mr. Guido Beltrani.
The sides discussed assistance programmes and projects funded by Switzerland, both implemented and planned for promotion on both banks of the Dniester River, aimed at developing an innovative and competitive business environment, modernizing the healthcare sector, providing humanitarian assistance to people in difficulty, supporting the social reintegration of various groups of citizens, improving energy efficiency and diversifying energy sources, etc.
The head of the Bureau welcomed the active involvement of Swiss donors in promoting projects that connect social actors and entrepreneurs from both banks of Dniester. Gvidiani thanked them for their efforts in this regard, and reiterated that such activities and projects should contribute to supporting the Transnistrian settlement process and to removing obstacles that needlessly complicate the lives of citizens.
