Polish Parliament delegation pays visit to Moldova
A delegation of members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland is paying a visit to the Republic of Moldova on 10–12 May.
According to the Parliament’s Communication and Public Relations Department, the Polish MPs will hold a meeting with Speaker Igor Grosu. Discussions are also scheduled with Deputy Speaker and Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee Doina Gherman, as well as with the Chair of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Poland, Larisa Voloh, and its members. The visit agenda also includes a meeting with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carolina Perebinos.
The talks during these meetings will focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation, including at parliamentary level, as well as on opportunities to deepen the partnership in areas of common interest. At the same time, the parliamentarians will exchange views on the European path of the Republic of Moldova and on good practices relevant to the process of accession to the European Union.
The Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Poland established diplomatic relations on 14 July 1992.
