Deputy Prime Minister - first working visit to Dubăsari district

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid his first working visit to Dubăsari district. He visited the localities of Molovata Nouă and Cocieri, where he met with local public authorities, representatives of public institutions, education, economic agents and citizens.

The discussions addressed a range of issues affecting the lives of the region's residents, including access to social services, challenges faced by local farmers, as well as the impact of restrictions imposed by Tiraspol on the activities of economic agents.

The official reaffirmed the Government's determination to resolve the issues raised and to contribute to improving the living conditions of the residents in the Security Zone. At the same time, Roman Roșca mentioned that the support provided to these communities is essential for strengthening trust and the presence of state institutions in the territory.

"I have come here to understand the problems faced by the communities within the Security Zone and to find concrete solutions together. The Government of the Republic of Moldova is and will remain an active partner in regional development and, of course, in our common effort for peaceful and sustainable reintegration," said Roman Roșca.

During the working visit, the Deputy Prime Minister also had a constructive dialogue with the medical staff of Struguraș Resort, an institution specialized in providing spa treatment services. Discussions focused on the need to modernize the complex's infrastructure, create attractive conditions for tourists, as well as the issue of the shortage of specialized medical staff.

At the conclusion of the visit, the official discussed local interest aspects with mayor of Ustia village Maxim Verdeș.

Roman Roșca was sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration on Wednesday, in the presence of Head of State Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. The position of Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration became vacant after Oleg Serebrian completed his term on 21 July, being appointed as our country's Ambassador to Turkey.
