Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel warns of new security measures following missile attack from Iran

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel informs Moldovan citizens in the country about new security restrictions introduced by the Israeli authorities following the missile attack launched from Iran.

According to the diplomatic mission, the Home Front Command has updated its security policy, and the new instructions are in force from Sunday, June 7, 10:00 p.m., until Monday, June 8, 8:00 p.m.

Under the announced measures, all educational activities are suspended. Public gatherings are limited to a maximum of 200 people outdoors and 500 people indoors, and participation is allowed only if there is the possibility of rapid access to a shelter or protected space within the warning time set by the authorities.

At the same time, work activities may continue only in buildings where employees have access to protected spaces that meet security requirements.

The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova recommends that citizens follow announcements from the Israeli authorities at all times and strictly comply with security instructions. The Home Front Command continues to monitor the situation, and any changes to the measures will be communicated later.

The Israeli army indicated on Sunday that it had come under Iranian fire for the first time since the ceasefire announced on April 8, AFP notes.

Iran threatened on Sunday to attack American and Israeli interests in the Middle East following an Israeli strike on a southern suburb of Beirut that left two people dead.

The war, triggered by an Israeli-American offensive against Tehran, entered its 100th day on Sunday, AFP recalls.
