Moldovan Central Electoral Commission accredits national, international observers for parliamentary elections due on September 28

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has accredited more national and international observers for the parliamentary elections due on September 28.

Thus, CEC accredited 75 people as national observers from the NGO Promo-LEX and 288 people from the NGO Union of Jurists of Moldova.

At the same time, CEC accredited international observers: seven people from the Embassy of Sweden in Moldova; two people from the Embassy of Italy in Moldova; four people from the Embassy of Turkey in Moldova and 15 people on behalf of the Ukraine’s parliament.

Meanwhile, based on the request of the NGO Union of Jurists of Moldova, the Commission withdrew the accreditation of two observers.

Also today, the CEC amended its decision on the implementation of the ruling by the Centru Court of Appeal from August 26, 2025, through which it registered the list of candidates on behalf of the Political Party MOLDOVA MARE (GREATER MOLDOVA).

Additionally, the CEC confirmed five interpreters.

The participants in the meeting also confirmed the person responsible for finances (treasurer) on behalf of the Electoral Bloc, Nation's Union Bloc.
