Moldovan parliament speaker goes to Bucharest: meeting with Romanian president, speeches at Regional Security Forum

Igor Grosu is heading to Bucharest, where he will take part in the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, an event opening in the Romanian capital that brings together officials and experts in regional security.

President of Romania Nicusor Dan will receive Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu at the Cotroceni Palace on May 12, according to the Presidential Administration.

Also on May 12, Igor Grosu will participate in the work of the security forum, there he will deliver remarks at more topic-related panels. Among them, there are Enlargement Meets Geopolitics: The Accession Process of Ukraine and Moldova and the Experience of the Western Balkans, organized in partnership with the Istituto Affari Internazionali, as well as Russian Hybrid Warfare in Europe, held in collaboration with the Institute for European Policies and Reforms. President of the Romanian Senate Mircea Abrudean will also take part in the panel dedicated to hybrid warfare.

In the same context of the meetings in Bucharest, official sources cited by News.ro said that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy would come to Bucharest to participate in the B9 Summit, which will take place at the Cotroceni Palace on May 13. The Kyiv leader will arrive in Bucharest on May 12 and will be accompanied by his wife, Olena Zelenska.
