The Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) announces that today is the last day to register for the Great National Dictation. Over 1,700 people have confirmed their participation so far.
According to MEC, individuals with the best results at the dictation will be awarded at an official ceremony.
“Prizes include: book sets from the ‘Cartier’ publishing house, vouchers from the Librarius bookstore, the Golden Ticket (double invitation) to the Luceafarul Theatre, wireless headphones and three-month sports subscriptions at the Chișinău Arena”, announced MEC.
Everyone who wants to test his/her Romanian language skills is invited to the event. Participation will only be possible with prior registration, which can be done by filling in a form on MEC’s website.
The dictation text will be revealed on the morning of the competition. All participants will receive sheets, pens, water and caps.
The event is organized by MEC for the third year in a row, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova, aiming to celebrate the Romanian language and promote proper speaking and writing among all citizens.
