Moldovan citizens can schedule online for services provided by National Social Insurances House based on international social security agreements
Citizens can schedule online to access services provided by the National Social Insurance House (CNAS) in the field of enforcement of international social security agreements, signed by Moldova with other countries.
Appointments can be made on the official governmental platform www.servicii.gov.md/programare, under the section, General Directorate of International Relations.
Through this functionality, citizens can request information regarding the specifics of providing social benefits based on international agreements; submit applications for getting social benefits and the necessary confirmatory documents in case of employment or change of residence in other contracting states; authenticate life certificates; issue certificates regarding applicable legislation (in case of posting employees abroad).
Moldova has signed bilateral social security agreements with 18 countries, including Bulgaria, Portugal, Romania, Luxembourg, Austria, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, Belarus, Italy, Greece, Spain and Latvia. Sixteen of these accords are in force.
The agreements establish a framework of social security guarantees for citizens of Moldova, who are or have been legally employed in those countries. Based on them, people can benefit from old-age pensions, disability pensions due to general health conditions, disability pensions and allowances following work accidents or caused by occupational diseases, as well as survivor's pensions.
