
Moldovan president meets representatives of European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova
President Maia Sandu today visited the office of the European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova (EUPM), where she met the leadership and team members. The discussions focused on the assessment of performances recorded during the first phase of activity, as well as outlining the priorities of the Mission's new mandate.
The head of state welcomed the valuable contribution of EUPM to strengthening the institutional capacities of Moldova, including in crisis management and countering hybrid threats.
The extension of the Mission's mandate represents a clear and firm signal on behalf of the European Union regarding its ongoing support for the country’s European path.
The European Union Partnership Mission in Moldova, launched on April 24, 2023, at a request by Moldova’s government, extended its activities starting on May 20, 2025.
