State to support young employees in strategic industries with financial allowances in Moldova
The MPs today voted, in the first reading, a draft law that establishes a National Programme for providing monthly allowances to young people employed for the first time in industries of strategic importance. A lawmaker of the Action of and Solidarity Party (PAS), Eugeniu Sinchevici, proposed the initiative and unveiled it in plenum.
According to the draft, young specialists under the age of 35, employed for the first time in such sectors as the electronics, chemical, pharmaceutical, machinery construction, textile, food, construction materials, and creative industries, will receive monthly allowances for a period of 12 consecutive months.
The cited source noted that, in the next two years, approximately 6,000 young people would receive a monthly allowance of 3,000 lei. The necessary funds will be allocated from the state budget and the details regarding the granting process will be later established by the government.
