USMF 'Nicolae Testemițanu' received Grand Prize at Euroinvent 2025

The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy 'Nicolae Testemițanu' of the Republic of Moldova was awarded the Grand Prize at Euroinvent 2025 - European Creativity and Innovation Exhibition, held in Iași, Romania.

According to President of the Romanian Inventors Forum Andrei Victor Sandu, the award recognizes 'hard work and creativity over the years in support of academic research.'

This is the first time the institution has won this prestigious trophy, awarded for its outstanding and consistent contribution to research and innovation.

At this edition, USMF 'Nicolae Testemițanu' participated with 46 works at the exhibition and the Book Fair, receiving a total of 63 awards, including: 36 medals (19 gold, 12 silver, 5 bronze), 16 diplomas of excellence, 10 special awards.

The university was officially represented by Associate Professor Oleg Solomon and scientific researcher Mariana Jian, who emphasized the importance of participating in such events for evaluating scientific achievements and strengthening international partnerships.

The 2025 edition of Euroinvent brought together over 640 projects presented by researchers and inventors from more than 30 countries. The event was organized by the Romanian Inventors Forum, along with Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University and other academic and research institutions from Romania and Europe, with the support of the National Research Authority under the Ministry of Education and Research of Romania.
