
Moldovan tennis player got second victory at Australian Open
Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/- Tennis player Radu Albot got his second victory at the Australian Open and qualified in 1/16.
Albot defeated Australian Christopher O'Connell yesterday in a match that lasted two hours and 20 minutes with 6-2, 7-5 and 7- 6. Previously, Albot defeated Roberto Bautista-Agut, who is ranked 13th in the world rankings. Australian Christopher O’Connell is ranked 12th.
In the third round of the tournament in Melbourne, Moldovan tennis player will meet 22-year-old Norwegian Ruud Casoer, who ranked 28th in the world ranking.
