Spain, Italy, Denmark, England semi-finalists of European Football Championship
Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/- National teams of Spain, Italy, Denmark and England are semifinalists of the European Football Championship.
The English national team reached the semifinals of a final European Championship tournament for the first time in 25 years, and this is due to the 4-0 victory over Ukraine. This match was the most watched live broadcast in the UK. BBC announced that 20.9 million people sat in front of the TV, with a rating peak of 81.8.
It is the only goalless team to reach the semi-finals in the history of EURO tournaments. Instead, of all the four semi-finalists, England is the only one that has not won the European trophy. In the semi-finals, England will face Denmark at Wembley.
The first semifinal will take place on 6 July, Italy - Spain (22:00, London), and on 7 July, the second semifinal will take place: England - Denmark (22:00, London).
