Moldovan sportspeople achieve remarkable results at 2025 GTF World Taekwondo Championship
Sportspeople of the National Taekwondo GTF Federation have achieved outstanding performances at the 2025 GTF World Taekwondo Championship, held with the participation of over 600 athletes from 25 countries.
Moldova was represented by 25 sportspeople, accompanied by five coaches and three referees. At the competition, they managed to win 6 gold medals in seniors and another 6 gold medals in juniors. They also stood out with 2 silver medals in seniors and 2 in juniors and 6 bronze medals were won by seniors and 2 by juniors.
In the team sparring event, Moldovan sportspeople secured third place. In the technical team event, Moldova ranked second.
These results were possible due to the efforts of the athletes, the continuous involvement of parents, coaches and the National Taekwondo Federation, as well as the support provided by Moldova’s Ministry of Education and Research.
