Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration meets Ambassador of Romania to Moldova

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Valeriu Chiveri had a meeting today with Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova Cristian-Leon Țurcanu.

During the discussions, the officials addressed a wide range of topics focused on the current situation in the eastern districts of the country. In this context, as a member of the European Union, Romania plays a special role in promoting community support for achieving the goal of reintegration. The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the assistance provided in managing the ecological crisis on the Dniester River, which has helped create a practical framework for bringing the two banks closer together.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed the openness to strengthening efforts to support and promote sustainable policies for the benefit of citizens living in the localities situated within the Security Zone.
