Moldovan PM in Ocnita district says government continues investing in projects that matter to people

Access to drinking water will be extended to 260 households in the village of Dingeni, northern Ocnita district, through a project supported by the government. Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu today visited this settlement, noting that the authorities would continue to invest in projects that matter to people.

“An important project is the extension of access to drinking water for 260 households. We also went to the water tower, an important facility that ensures the functioning of the supply system and people’s access to a basic service. Such investments mean better living conditions, safer public services and stronger communities,” said Alexandru Munteanu.

The PM said that the northern region of the country had a huge potential, and the development of these communities was essential for the balance and growth of the entire country.

“Today, in Dingeni, in Ocnita district, I saw how investments supported by the government are being transformed into concrete results for people. The North has enormous potential, and the development of these communities is essential for the balance and growth of the entire country,” the official said.

The prime minister assured that the authorities would continue to invest in projects that matter to people – in infrastructure and in quality of life, in every locality of Moldova.

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu is paying a working visit to Ocnita district today. The PM will discuss with representatives of local public authorities and deconcentrated services projects implemented in settlements and priorities for the coming period.

Additionally, the prime minister will visit the recently inaugurated rescuers and firefighters depot in the town of Ocnita, as well as an agricultural business in the region that has benefited from funds provided by the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.
