European Village programme: residents of north Moldova village benefit from running water
Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - Over 1,100 residents of the Badragii Noi village, northern Edinet district, benefit from running water following the implementation of a project included in the European Village programme.
The investments worth almost nine million lei, allocated by the government, allowed building a system of aqueduct on a distance of 17 km, which comprises a platform for artesian well, as well as a water treatment station. Also, two water towers were set in the settlement, which provide the water’s efficient and uniform distribution throughout the village.
The European Village programme comprises 497 projects and 247 of them have been finished. According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development, 155 out of all projects regard the modernization of the water and sewerage infrastructure and 58 of them have been successfully implemented.
