National Army reservists strengthen military skills during training exercise
Reservists of the Armed Forces are taking part, from October 19 to 23, in a training exercise organized by the National Army at a military training area. The activity aims to assess and strengthen the participants’ military skills, as well as maintain the level of readiness required to carry out specific missions.
According to the Ministry of Defense, over the five-day period, the reservists will participate in theoretical and practical training sessions. The program includes tactical training, firing exercises with infantry weapons, first aid training, and other specific activities.
According to the same source, training exercises involving reservists are planned activities organized periodically to maintain the readiness level of the Armed Forces reserve.
The activities are carried out in accordance with Law No. 1244/2002 on the Reserve of the Armed Forces and the National Army’s Training Plan for 2026.
This year, similar exercises took place in July and September at various National Army training centers.
