Creative Industries' Festival: almost 50 original posters by Milton Glaser exhibited in Chisinau

Chisinau is currently hosting an exhibition dedicated to one of the most influential designers of the 20th century, Milton Glaser. Almost 50 original posters signed by the famous American artist are on display at the National Art Museum of Moldova, as part of the seventh edition of the Creative Industries Festival.

Culture Minister Cristian Jardan attended the opening of the exhibition and praised the initiative to bring to Moldova the works of a key figure in the world of design and visual arts.

“On these days, Chisinau has the rare opportunity to discover almost 50 original posters signed by Milton Glaser, one of the most important designers of the 20th century. This is a remarkable effort to bring closer to the public the works of a great name in the art world,” the minister said.

According to the official, the creative industries represent a continuously developing sector that contributes both to economic growth and to promoting the image of Moldova abroad.

“By investing in creative industries, we invest in people, in culture and in the future,” Cristian Jardan emphasized.

As part of this year’s edition of the Creative Industries Festival, the public can also visit other important cultural projects, including the personal exhibition, Lică Sainciuc, at the Lutnita Gallery, as well as art installations and creative interventions organized at the National Museum of History, Artcor, and Ginta Latina.

The exhibition dedicated to Milton Glaser can be visited at the National Art Museum of Moldova till June 27, 2026.
