Images from the first meeting of the government led by Prime Minister Vasile Tofan, during which the new Cabinet presented its main priorities and set the first urgent tasks.

At the opening of the meeting, the PM announced seven priority objectives, for the implementation of which he called on the ministers to act without delay. Among them, there are solving the problems related to “shameless” salaries, reducing expenses for “business tourism”, relaunching tax reform, reducing abusive inspections of entrepreneurs and boosting the process of European integration.

Vasile Tofan said that the cabinet he leads would have direct and transparent communication and that it “will call things by their name”. The agenda of the first meeting included 24 items, most of them concerning the measures needed to advance the process of Moldova’s European integration.
