Moldova to perform today in first semi-final of Eurovision 2026

The Republic of Moldova returns this evening to the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, where artist Satoshi will perform in the first semi-final of the competition with the song “Viva, Moldova!”. He will open the show at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, being the first contestant to go on stage in this year’s contest.

The song “Viva, Moldova!” was selected during the 2026 National Final organized by TRM, where the artist won both the public vote and the appreciation of the national and international juries.

The second semi-final is scheduled for May 14, and the grand final will take place on May 16 in the Austrian capital.

The Republic of Moldova thus returns to the competition after a one-year break. According to the international press, Satoshi’s song is among the favorites in the first semi-final, alongside the representatives of Finland, Greece and Sweden.
