U.S. Embassy in Moldova provides grants from 25,000 to 250,000 dollars through Freedom 250 programme

The Embassy of the United States in Moldova has launched a call for proposals for the Freedom 250 grants programme, dedicated to marking the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence. The initiative supports projects that highlight the historical and cultural contributions of the United States worldwide, including in the field of cultural heritage and provides funding between 25,000 and 250,000 dollars for projects with an implementation period of 1 to 5 years.

According to the Culture Ministry, the programme was launched through the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP). It is aimed at institutions and organizations willing to promote cultural heritage, international cooperation and history education.

Interested institutions and organizations can review the eligibility criteria and submit their applications by April 15, 17:30, via the link: https://bit.ly/AFCP250.

The initiative gives an opportunity to support innovative projects that promote the cultural and historical values of the United States and help strengthen the capacity of Moldova’s institutions to carry out large-scale international projects.
