Ministry of Culture considers holding of three events with foreign artists inopportune
The Ministry of Culture considers it inopportune to hold three events that were to take place in the Republic of Moldova in the near future, with the participation of foreign artists.
They are Diana Arbenina, Nurlan Saburov and Oleg Vinnik.
“The organizers of these events were informed about the conclusions of the evaluation, with the recommendation to terminate any contractual relations with the persons concerned, in order to avoid situations that could lead to their inability to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova and, implicitly, to the cancellation of the events,” announced the Ministry of Culture.
According to the ministry, cultural institutions and event organizers have the responsibility to assess with utmost seriousness the public impact of the guests they promote, including any potential risks. The Ministry of Culture reaffirms its position that the cultural space must remain one of dialogue, freedom and artistic expression.
