Over 20 media projects to get funding from media subsidy fund

The Expert Council of the Ministry of Culture has selected 22 projects that will receive funding from the media subsidy fund. The beneficiaries will implement initiatives aimed at contributing to the development of a professional, independent, and sustainable media sector in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the Ministry of Culture, most of the selected projects focus on promoting democracy and European integration, highlighting national culture and historical memory, as well as topics of social interest such as inclusion, tolerance, and social cohesion. At the same time, the proposed initiatives address issues such as information and media literacy, as well as combating propaganda and disinformation, including in the languages of national minorities.

The authorities encourage media institutions to participate in future editions of the competition in order to contribute to strengthening a high-quality media environment in the Republic of Moldova.

The list of approved projects is available here.
