VIDEO // Prime Minister in talks with team of international journalists

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu today held a meeting with a team of international journalists who arrived in our country to discover its economy, culture and local traditions. He noted that our country has much to be proud of and that the best business card is the experience people live here.

Alexandru Munteanu presented the Republic of Moldova as a country with an open economy, potential and people who are building their future here at home.

“We want the Republic of Moldova to be understood as it is today – an open economy, with potential and people who are building their future here, at home. Today at the Government I welcomed a team of international journalists who came to see first-hand how the economy and business environment work in the Republic of Moldova. We have a lot to show and we need greater visibility, and the best business card is the experience people have here,” underlined Munteanu.

A team of journalists from Romania, Poland, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom is in the Republic of Moldova this week to discover the economy, culture, and local experiences.

The visitors represent some of the most important publications in the fields of economy, business, lifestyle, and tourism in their countries. They will explore the Republic of Moldova from several perspectives: exports, creative industries, heritage, gastronomy, tourism, and local development.

The visit agenda was designed and customized according to the editorial profile and interests of the journalists so that they could have direct access to relevant information, credible sources, local companies, and experiences that reflect today’s Moldova.
