Chisinau, Oct. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Air Moldova has started the first flight between the Republic of Moldova and Georgia.
According to Air Moldova, the launch event took place at the Chisinau International Airport, at the check-in counters, where passengers were greeted with music, dancing, snacks and traditional Georgian wine.
Attending the event was Ambassador of Georgia to Moldova Levan Diasamidze. At the same time, President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, who is on an official visit to Moldova also flew with the new route Tbilisi - Chisinau.
Air Moldova operates flights to/from Tbilisi for the first time, with a frequency of four flights per week.
