Information systems of Chisinau International Airport restored, operations gradually return to normal
The information systems of the Chisinau International Airport have been restored, and operations are gradually returning to normal parameters. The Airport’s administration today made statements to this effect.
The source noted, however, that during the day, there might be flight delays and congestion in certain operational areas, as a result of the gradual resumption of activities.
Therefore, to ensure a more efficient journey, officials recommend that passengers arrive at the airport not later than 2.5 – 3 hours before their flight, prepare travel documents in advance, follow airport staff instructions, check the flight status on the airport's online board and pay attention to audio announcements and displays in the terminal.
Travelers with questions or uncertainties can contact airport staff, who are available to provide assistance.
Today morning, certain information systems at the Chisinau International Airport were temporarily unavailable for technical reasons. As a result, some airport services experienced delays or limited operations. Under these circumstances, flights to Bucharest and Dortmund were canceled.
By 11:30, the airport administration informed that the technical problem affecting the information systems had been resolved and they were in the process of gradual restoration.
