ANOFM teams receive equipment and three cars to facilitate workforce integration
The teams of the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) have received three cars, 10 sets of IT equipment, and office furniture for 10 territorial subdivisions of the institution.
The actions are part of an institutional strengthening effort aimed at bringing employment services closer to citizens.
The donation was made during a visit to Chisinau by Executive Vice-President for Social Rights, Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness Roxana Mînzatu.
During the donation handover event, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu appreciated the work of the ANOFM teams, who last year helped 16,699 people find a job, which would mean about 25% of all unemployed people in the Republic of Moldova.
"ANOFM has helped a very large number of citizens find a job, which is very important. I hope this donation will contribute to bringing employment services closer to citizens. We thank our partners for the support. This will have a positive impact on improving the services offered by ANOFM," said Alexei Buzu.
ANOFM Director Raisa Dogaru remarked on the essential contribution of the teams who support citizens and employers.
"ANOFM will continue to invest in the development of the services offered to ensure a more inclusive and accessible labor market for all the country's citizens," said Raisa Dogaru.
The value of the cars is 1.3 million lei. They will be sent to the territorial employment structures in Glodeni, Drochia and Fălești. In addition, the 10 sets of IT equipment and furniture will be sent to the structures in Anenii Noi, Cahul, Cantemir, Cimișlia, Criuleni, Edineț, Strășeni, Ștefan Vodă, Taraclia and Ungheni.
