Over 520 farmers from country participate in first edition of AgroFin Moldova 2025 fair

Over 520 farmers from across the country participated in the first edition of AgroFin Moldova – the Financiers' Fair for Agriculture and Rural Development, held in three regions: Balti, Chisinau and Cahul.

On June 6, in Cahul, the final regional session took place, where farmers from the southern Moldova discussed with financial institutions, public authorities and development partners, thus concluding the first edition of the Financiers' Fair for Agriculture and Rural Development.

“AgroFin Moldova 2025 brought together 525 agricultural producers from across the country during the three sessions held in Balti, Chisinau and Cahul. The events provided a platform for dialogue between farmers, financial institutions, public authorities and development partners. Over 180 farmers from the southern region of the country participated in the event in Cahul. Participants appreciated the opportunity to find information about financial products, guarantee mechanisms, insurance solutions and investment support in one place,” indicated the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).

According to MAIA, following the success of this first edition, the AgroFin event is set to be organized annually, in a regional format.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, in partnership with the Agricultural and Rural Consulting Center.
