Fuel prices continue to fall

Retail prices for gasoline and diesel continue to fall. This trend is maintained throughout the entire week.

According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), tomorrow drivers will pay 24.78 lei for a liter of diesel, by 0.28 lei less than today. The gasoline price is decreasing by 0.14 lei, down to 27.55 lei.

At the end of last week, ANRE announced that the favorable evolution of prices is driven by the decrease in international quotations for petroleum products and by the significant reduction in the price of crude oil on international markets.

According to ANRE’s calculations, in practical terms, consumers are currently paying more than 9 lei less for each liter of diesel and more than 3 lei less for each liter of gasoline compared to the maximum levels reached following the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
