The Republic of Moldova will have new ambassadors to India and Armenia, as well as a Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe. The presidential decrees appointing them were published today in the Official Journal.
According to the documents, Inga Ionesii has been appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to India. At the same time, the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine, Victor Chirilă, will additionally serve as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Armenia.
Victor Lăpușneanu has also been appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe. The appointment follows the Government’s approval of the recall of Daniela Cujba from this position.
The presidential decrees enter into force upon the publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
