More agricultural machinery heading toward Sculeni Customs
The General Police Inspectorate (IGP) announces that, at present, several pieces of agricultural machinery are moving toward the Sculeni Border Crossing Point via different access routes, allegedly intending to block the activity of the crossing post.
According to the authorities, both the organizers of the protest and the drivers of the machinery are not cooperating with the law enforcement officers present at the scene.
“Police officers are present on the ground and are acting to maintain public order, prevent the blocking of the border crossing point, and ensure the smooth flow of traffic,” the IGP said.
In this context, law enforcement officers are calling on all participants to comply with the requests of the police and other competent bodies and to avoid any actions that could disrupt road traffic or the activity of the border crossing point.
Farmers from several localities across the country held protests yesterday and today, expressing dissatisfaction, among other things, with certain provisions in the draft fiscal policy for next year.
