
Fuel prices drop in Moldova; national energy regulator announces lower prices
The petrol and diesel prices continue to decrease. Drivers will pay up to 0.04 lei less for fuels on October 23.
Thus, a liter of diesel on October 23 will be sold for no more than 19.22 lei, with the price decreasing by 0.04 lei, according to data by the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE).
At the same time, petrol is becoming cheaper by 0.03 lei and will cost a maximum of 22.45 lei.
At the end of last week, ANRE announced that the downward trend in fuel prices was based on the reduction in Platts international quotations and the continuous cheapening of Brent crude oil, which is currently below the threshold of 61 USD/barrel, the lowest level in the last five months.
