
Moldova exports mostly to European Union countries
Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/- The main destination of goods exported from the Republic of Moldova is the European Union, so in January-November 2020 the exports totaled 1520.5 million US dollars, holding a share of 67.1% of exports.
Today, the National Bureau of Statistics presented data on the international trade in goods of the Republic of Moldova in January - November 2020. Exports made during this period amounted to 2267 million dollars, a volume lower than that achieved in the corresponding period of 2019 by 11.5 percent.
At the same time, exports of domestic goods in January-November 2020 amounted to 1744.2 million dollars (76.9% of exports), decreasing by 4.4% compared to the same period in 2019.
Re-exports of foreign goods in January-November2020 amounted to 522.8 million dollars (23.1% of exports), or 28.9% less, compared to the same period of the year 2019.
Exports of goods to European Union countries in January-November 2020 amounted to 1520.5 million dollars (down by 7.1% than in January-November 2019), accounting for 67.1% of exports.
In January-November 2020 the main countries of destination of exports of goods were: Romania (28.4% of exports), Germany (9.2%), Russian Federation (8.7%), Italy (8.6% ), Turkey (6.6%), Poland (4.4%), the Czech Republic (3.3%), Belarus (2.7%), Ukraine (2.6%), Switzerland (2.4%) , Bulgaria (2.4%), the Netherlands (2.3%), the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (1.7%), Spain (1.3%), France (1.2%), Greece (1.1%).
