New opportunities for Moldovans in Diaspora: six investment profiles launched for people willing to invest in Moldova

The Investment Agency has launched a set of six sectoral investment profiles, meant primarily for Diaspora Moldovans who are considering the possibility of investing, relocating their businesses or returning to Moldova.

The new profiles, developed in Romanian, were designed as tools for economic and investment analysis, offering a structured overview of market conditions, available infrastructure and investment opportunities in Moldova in sectors with growth potential.

The profiles cover such areas as industrial real estate, agriculture and agricultural processing, business process outsourcing (BPO), IT and creative industries, social and medical services, tourism and hospitality.

Each profile provides potential investors with essential information on market structure, workforce, infrastructure, niches with development potential, public support mechanisms, as well as the steps required to start and operate a business in Moldova. The materials also include examples of projects and success stories, as well as dedicated opportunities for the Diaspora.

The profiles are aligned with the Investment Map for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Investment Agency, which connects the development priorities of Moldova with concrete opportunities for private capital.
