State simplifies rules for economic agents: 26 permissive procedures to be optimized

MPs are set to examine a draft law that aims to optimize 26 permissive procedures to reduce bureaucracy for economic agents, especially for small and medium enterprises. The initiative was approved today by the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget, and Finance and the Committee for European Integration.

The draft was set up by PAS deputies Dorian Istratii and Ilie Ionaș and aims to simplify procedures, eliminate redundant requirements, and reduce the number of mandatory documents.

The document proposes amendments to 23 laws and includes the implementation of single-window solutions and information technologies, extending the validity period of permissive documents, and reducing issuance duration.

Previously, the 11th Legislature's Parliament eliminated or transformed 33 acts into non-permissive procedures and simplified the issuance of 53 permissive acts.

The new measures are part of the implementation of the Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova for 2025-2027, which includes eliminating at least 20 permissive acts and reviewing over 80 acts, according to good regulation principles and European Union standards.
