Authentication possibilities of certificates for pension beneficiaries not residing in Moldova extended
Chisinau, March 16 / MOLDPRES /- The Executive approved today the Government Decision for the implementation of the provisions of Law no. 208/2021, through which several articles of Law 156/1998 on the public pension system were exposed in a new wording or completed, the government's communication and protocol department has repored.
Thus, amendments were made to the Regulation on the calculation of pensions and the confirmation of the contribution period for establishing pensions and to the Regulation on the payment of pensions established in the public system of state social insurance, state social allowances, allowances monthly payments, capitalized periodic payments and state financial support.
The Government Decision defines the Tas. Indicator, used in the formula for calculating the long-term early retirement pension, as “the contributory contribution period, which sums up all the contribution periods, with 5 years for men and 3 years for women longer than the full period of contribution, which is 34 years old ”.
Another important provision refers to beneficiaries who have established their right to a pension in the Republic of Moldova, but live in a state with which the Republic of Moldova has not concluded an agreement on social security. Thus, they will have the opportunity to authenticate the life certificate they must present annually to the Moldovan authorities, in order to confirm their right to a pension in the Republic of Moldova, including the local administrative public authority or the notary public on the territory of the home state.
The provisions of the project enter into force on the date of publication in the Official Journal.
