Choirs of carolers bring holiday to Moldova's Presidency
The Presidency of Moldova, on the second day of Christmas, was visited by more groups of carolers and well-wishers, who brought the joy of the winter holidays to the institution. Dressed in traditional costumes, both children and adults announced the Birth of the Lord and conveyed wishes for health, peace and a prosperous year.
President Maia Sandu, together with the employees of the Presidential Administration, warmly welcomed them and watched the programme presented by the Folklore Ensemble "Stejăreii" from the Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu Theoretical Lyceum, the children's choir "Vitejii" from the Mihai Viteazul Theoretical Lyceum of Chisinau, as well as a group of carolers from the town of Ialoveni. The head of state thanked them for the emotion they had brought and for how they preserve and carry on the country’s traditions.
The Christmas tree at the Presidency can be visited until January 15. We invite you, along with your loved ones, to take a photo at the presidential tree: Monday to Friday, from 17:00 till 19:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 to 15:00.
